Dual Award Qualifications

Found in 1984, the Business & Technology Eduction Council (BTEC) aimed to provide various professional programmes. In 1997, the College has become the first BTEC registered centre and gained the approval of providing 2-year BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes. CBCC is now the seventh largest BTEC Centre in the world offering programmes in the disciplines of Business, Design and Hospitality Management.

Graduates of Associate Degree programmes, upon successful completion of a number of specially designed BTEC courses offered by the College, would also be eligible for the award of the BTEC Higher National Diploma in the relevant disciplines provided that they have fulfilled the relevant assessment requirements. Those graduates will obtain a dual qualification – Associate Degree and BTEC Higher National Diploma. It is surely an advantage for students to further their studies in relevant Degree Pr ogrammes and maintain their competitiveness in the highly demanding market.

Exemption from Professional Examinations

Graduates of Associate Degree Programmes will gain membership and be granted exemptions in some papers of respective professional examinations and associations.
