In Hong Kong the ageing population is contributing and will continue to contribute to a dramatic increase in the demand for the healthcare professionals and workforce in the coming years.  It has always been deemed that training to become a member of the healthcare professionals or the healthcare workforce is a "privilege" for the talented ones.  The S.K. Yee Department of Health Sciences believes that we can nurture those with a caring attitude to become a valued healthcare professional.  Anyone with the passion and enthusiasm to serve for the health of all can be trained to become a healthcare professional or a member of the healthcare workforce. 

Upholding the mission of the education services of Caritas-HK to nurture our youngsters to actualise their potentials, the S.K. Yee Department of Health Sciences is dedicated to training our students to become knowledgeable, skillful, and caring individuals to become our future healthcare professionals and workforce.  We have state-of-the-art hardware and experienced professional teachers to help students achieving their goals.  After being trained in our well-designed and experiential in-class teaching and learning activities, students will undergo real-life work experience training in the field attachment courses.  Through our training, students will learn and acquire the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to serve for the wellness and health of all with love.  We are committed to equip our students with the knowledge and competencies to advance up the academic and / or career ladders to pursue their goals and success in life. 

As a joint effort with our sister, S.K. Yee School of Health Sciences, our students will be offered the opportunity to pursue degree qualifications in nursing, physiotherapy, and health sciences disciplines.
